Kristen Shaffer-Hale didn't fall into homebuilding — she grew up in it. As a kid, she spent time on job sites with her grandfather, father, and uncle as they built custom homes across Central Indiana. That foundation stayed with her through her Construction Management degree at Purdue and into a role with a national leader in production home construction, where she learned the systems and discipline that keep complex projects on time and on budget.
She brought those skills back to the family business and now serves as President of Kent Shaffer Homes. Under her leadership, the company has become known for ultra-luxury custom builds in some of Central Indiana's most sought-after communities — including back-to-back BAGI Home-A-Rama wins in 2018 and 2024. She's as comfortable in a design meeting as she is on a job site, and her clients tend to notice both.
